The L Series of
AQUAMETA water tank level
transmitters and receivers extend the current
communications range of our AQUAMETA
products to 10Km. With the impending release of
our new R153 repeater station, this range can be
further extended by using one or more repeaters.
The L series transmitters come in 3
variations:
-
LT153 Long Range transmitter. This unit will
act as a relay station to any number of T434R of
T434B tank units located within a 300m radius
from it. Water level data received from these
Tank Units will be retransmitted using the long
range radio telemetry link. The LT153 will
typically be used where there is more than one
tank at the remote location. The LT153 is also
ideal to use where the tank is located at a
inconvenient location necessitating the need to
have the antenna some distance away.
-
T153B tank unit. This tank unit is
equipped with its own long range radio
transmitter and is used where only level
information needs to be transmitted.
-
T153R tank
unit. This unit is equipped with its own long range transmitter
and is used where level data as well as start and stop control
signals to local, or remote pumps, or valves are
required.
The L Series transmitters require 12V DC to
operate.
The LR153 is the long range receiver. The
LR153 can accept telemetry data from any number
of the L series transmitters. The LR153 will
retransmit the level data using our short range
wireless link to any of our level display units
such as the R1, R5 or R1SP. The benefit of using
a short range wireless link to relay the data
signal is that there is no requirement to wire
long lengths of coax cable from the antenna to
the receiver, since the design enables the
receiver to be located close to the antenna.
Using the LR153 in conjunction with the R1SP
allows for providing start and stop control
signal to a pump or valve at a remote location.
