This easy to install water level gauge is suitable for installation on potable and rainwater tanks. The gauge has a reversible face plate. One side can be used for tanks to 1.5m in height, the other side for water tanks to 2.5m in height. This means that the gauge will give a accurate reading of the current water level in the tank.
The gauge is supplied with a flange plate that is screwed down onto the water tank using two stainless steel screws.
The face diameter is 70mm

How does this level gauge work ?
The level gauge has a weighted float attached to it via a thin cord.  The float is sufficiently weighted so that as the water level rises or falls, the dial on the level gauge is rotated to indicate the current water depth.

How to install this level gauge
Depending on the height of the water tank, select the dial that will give you the best accuracy.
Drill a small 4mm hole into the top of the tank.
Feed the cord from level gauge through the hole and attach it to the weighted float.
If you cannot get access from the inside of the tank, then drill a 40mm hole into the tank and drop the float through it.
Screw down the flange plate using two self tapping stainless steel screws.
Adjust the dial by rotating it clock or anti-clockwise so that the maximum water depth is aligned with the red line on the dial face plate.
