The Aquameta RS232 adaptor is ideal for logging water tank level to a computer or SCADA system. The adaptor can be plugged into any of the Aquameta Tank Units or Command Module. The cable is terminated with a 9 pin female D connector. The communications is at 4800 baud, 8 bit, 1 stop bit, no parity.
Note: Use the RS232 to USB converter (SKU code - ANUSB) in conjunction with the RS232 adaptor to interface to a USB port on a computer.
The following data is available:
- Level - (0 for empty, 1000 for full)
- Alarm status
- Relay status - (Only applicable for the T434R Tank Unit)
- Battery status - (Only applicable for the T434B Tank Unit)
- Sensor status
- Tank Unit device address
The data steam is comma separated.
