This switch can be wired to work in either normally open (high level) or normally closed (low level) applications. UL Listed and CSA Certified. Passed NSF standard 61 protocol by an approved - Water Quality Association laboratory Can be wired to work in either normally open or normally closed applications (Single Pole, Double Throw). Mechanically-activated, snap action contacts Not sensitive to rotation Control differential: (38mm)1½" above or below horizontal High impact, corrosion resistant, polypropylene float housing Mounting options include: mounting clamp or cable weight CSA Certified UL Listed for use in water and sewage The narrow-angle version activates/deactivates approximately 38mm(1.5") above and below horizontal with a 89mm(3.5") tether. When wired as Normally Open(high level) The control switch turns on (closes) when the float tips above horizontal signaling a high level, and turns off (opens) when the float drops below horizontal. When wired as Normally Closed(low level) The control switch turns on (closes) when the float drops below horizontal signaling a low level, and turns off (opens) when the float tips above horizontal. This switch can be pipe mounted or weighted externally so that it can be suspended from above.(See associated products at the bottom of this page.)
